WPC wall panel installation construction common issues

How should the base layer be handled? It’s sufficient for the wall surface to be flat; cement walls, red bricks, and gypsum boards can all be used. In areas where the surface is not flat, wooden or lightweight steel studs can be used to level it out, and there is no need to apply putty or latex paint.
Installation methods: The dry-hanging stud method is recommended as it helps prevent moisture buildup; studs are installed and wall panels are fixed using clips. The glue-based attachment method allows for direct installation on flat and dry walls, but it should not be used in humid environments.
Can these panels be installed in bathrooms and basements? Yes, high-density WPC materials are preferred, and the studs should be treated to resist corrosion. A gap of 5–10 mm should be left at the bottom to allow air circulation and prevent water accumulation.
How should the joints between panels be dealt with? Matching edge strips can be used, along with either V-joints or straight joints. For a minimalist look, V-joints are suitable, while straight joints are better if dust prevention is a concern.
